so last sunday i met up with YX and AD after hiking the Broga. after Broga i had bak kut teh as brunch with Richard's family.
Some photos for Broga hill first? HAHA
we left home at 4am in the morning and reached Semenyih around 5am. it was raining. we waited in the car and the rain only gets heavier. we were joking around to go home eat bak kut teh etc. While in the car also I learnt about the oil palms, the leeches, the chicken's sexual activity ... Quite an informative session we had there LOL
Thank God the rain stopped after that and we hiked up with our full gear. OMG, since when broga hill became so challenging to hike? or is it because i am too old compared to the last time i went up. which was like 3.5 yrs ago. lol.
we arrived at the first peak at 6.15am and i was dead. my leg couldnt go further so i decided to stay at the first peak. We just sat there did nothing until sunrise (see nothing as well) and roll down. argh my legs.
took the hard way to get down. we were stuck. hahahahha
so as i mentioned my first stop was bak kut teh, second stop is this place called
Strangers @ 47, located in PJ section 17. A place you find specialty crepes.
It was just a small cafe like Standing Theory. As we walked in i was amazed by the crowd and noise. hahaha. it was full house but we were approached by a very friendly staff who got us some stools while waiting for tables. yeap, we feel welcomed, like a boss, really. haha
just about 5mins of waiting we got a table. just nice. The environment was actually really good but it was too noisy to me. probably its Sunday lunch time. The crowd soothes a lil when we were about to leave.
We ordered two crepes to share (thank you girls for tolerating teehee)
The dark side (RM9 only!) - dark chocolate crepe with choc filling but it's not sweet at all. Topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. yums :D
and also the Shore To Please (RM21.5). Prawn, squid, spinach, onions and cherry tomatoes. very nice. i can't stop eating the spinach and onions. hahahahha!
a very bad top shot. excuse.
Overall a very nice cafe to chill at and to have some crepes. Excellent services.
Strangers at 47 :
47, Jalan 17/45, Section 17, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Without wasting time we headed straight to SS15 for Tryst Cafe.
Another cafe with interesting interior & deco. It feels 'youngster'. hahahahah
We had a Banana chocolate pancake (RM9), a slice of butter poppy seed cake (RM8), and a meatball bolognaise pasta (RM12)
they serve a variety of pancakes. it was quite good.
but not for the poppy seed cake. it is too 'buttered' to us. ngiek.
the top bolognaise shot by YX. she's the pro now. hahahaha!
Tryst Cafe :
74, Jalan SS15/4C, Suabang Jaya
