I ❤ ToFu: The Roof

Have been quite a happening week (or 2weeks) for me. They say sem 3 is our honeymoon sem, but I feel like im having honeymoon every semester. Well they say so because for semester 3 we will be only having a MCQ paper. No hell OSPE (YAY!) and no OSCE. I always thought OSCE is a sure thing for every semester but lol, NO. Ken just told me that we’re having our next OSCE in semester 5. SERIOUSLYYYYY lol.

Ahh where to start. I have so many outings I want to share. But again, see, where has my Japan trip gone? XD

Lemme start with the most recent one larr then.

Went to The Roof (First Avenue) with the bros. It was quite spontaneous tho, Jio on Sunday, booked table on Monday and we went on Tuesday.

I was having PBL on Tuesday, which ended at 5.30pm T_T stupid timing right. After PBL I straight ciao to BU already. Luckily no jam hehe. And since I was early too so I went to Justin house to chill also while waiting for Eunice, Limin and BR.

His house renovated liao, so nice~ I like the kitchen very much XD

Spotted CNY cookies on the table and……ATTACK!!!

My favourite ialah ini kuih bangkit. Hehehe I ate half of the tin. My mum has never understood why I love kuih bangkit so much. She thinks its geli because it melts. I love it because it melts la ! LOL. As long as its not coffee flavoured I can finish everything. Pandan is my love =D

They reached justin’s house around 7pm, but we booked 8pm. Because ddly limin said he has exam until 6pm (duhh) so we continued to FIFA 14. OMGERD I WANT A PS4 or XBOX so badly. T_T i actually love to play games. I remember when we still had our PS2 when we were younger…hahahah everyday play PS2 only until daddy threw it away (or gave it to people?) Then everytime visit to aunt’s house the first thing we do is go into cousin’s room to play his PS. HAHAHHAHA I WANT :(

Okay back to our Roof experience.

The view wasn’t that great because of the haze. Hahahahahaha butt without the haze it should be nice. =P

Environment and ambience were superb. But after 9pm the bar next to it has live band, so it gets noisy after 9 lol.

Service was awesomeeeee. We have already prepared ourselves to get the worst service in the world after reading through all the reviews online (FB especially). They have got a huge number of bad reviews saying that the service was BAD, THE WORST. But for us it wasn’t the case. They are attentive and fast. The waiter and waitress even joke around with us. LOL. Well probably because we went on a weekday. I don’t know.

instead of mushroom, it has a stronger garlic taste. which i find it quite nice still. hahahha

Giant meatball 'bomb' linguine, RM39.

Limin ordered this, and we made jokes about his giant ball. and within the beef meatball, there's egg! LOLOLOL

char-grilled Australian rib-eye Steak, RM68

for that i ordered 'medium', but i find it a bit too cooked. dry and hard. the sauces on the side are interesting, there's a wasabi mustard, berries sour plum dip, onion in sweet sauce. Not too bad.

i did not try all of the dishes that everyone ordered, but everyone said its quite good. so yeah. i shall assume that too. HAHA
