had dinner with my family + boyfriend last night and after dinner chilled for some time at my place. you are my all time favorite :) teehee.
today's topic :
DAYS WITH THE JAPANESE GIRLS
yeap. we had 2 guests from Japan three weeks back. they are my sister's juniors' tutors. by tutors i mean peer tutor or smth like that, every international student will be assigned to a tutor in that kosen. yea so...they are both 20. same age as me *wink wink*
they came to kl after visiting my sister's junior in Kuching, Sarawak. the day they reached was the day i went down to Malacca with my besties. haha. so i missed the first dinner with them.
the next day, Sunday 25th Aug we had this day tour in KL.
we took the KL Hop-On-Hop-Off bus from Titiwangsa and started our day. the ticket price was RM12 for Malaysian students and RM24 for students/child (overseas student cards). normal price should be RM45, ticket valid for 24hours. it can be a 48hrs ticket as well. #justsaying hahahah
can check out the bus service here... KL Hop-On-Hop-Off City Tour Bus
and our first stop >>
KL TOWER (Stop no.2)
the skyscraper. i'm not sure what's it's ranking in the world now LOL nvm. got off the bus and walked through the "cultural thingy" outside, and got our ticket to the viewing deck. We bought the RM99 to open air deck. that guy told us that they don't normally sell the open air deck tickets. but the weather is really good and view is clear that day......so we followed what the two japanese wants. Ahh, there was me, my sister, Haruka and Yoshie.
before we got up we were asked to sign a security form. then the guy at the counter asked me, he said, "Annyeong! where are you from? Korea??" i looked at my sister, lol, told him that we are malaysian. and he's like "WTF" face. HAHHAHA
please bear with it. i was too lazy to bring the camera and edit anything. hahahha
the 'cultural thingy'..traditional houses of different states in malaysia.
the view! looking good KL.!
and we're looking at the souvenirs at lower viewing deck..these are so cool.. hahahahha
back to the bus and headed to the Craft Cultural Complex near Jalan Conlay (Stop no.5)
here is where you can find all those traditional art and crafts, batik, the patung for wayang kulit etc..
it was raining, so we stayed inside to do some coloring...
they have a lot of batik pieces with Owls. and you know, im kind of obsessed with owls. hahaha! sister and i share a block..it's RM10 for a small one or RM15 for a larger block.
okay. what happened to us. i tot we are all human?
jeng jeng! our "art work" hahaha
one funny thing is we didn't know there's the tail of the owls below the branch and realized it later. HAHAHHAHA
We actually planned to go Petaling Street (China Town) and central market de but it was raining quite heavily.. so we stopped by at bukit bintang for lunch. hahaha! had our lunch at the food court in Lot 10, 十号胡同. always wanted to dine there, but never got the chance to. and OMG the food there. so YUMMM so GOOOD. its where they gathered all the famous hawker stalls in KL. for example you can find Imbi road porkball mihun, or the Kam Lin Kei hokkien mee (petaling street that one!)
ordered a few different dishes and we had a feast. we had dim sum, hokkien mee, cantonese fried noodles, soya & char kuai.
and there's one big pau.
as big as our faces. HAHAHA LOLLL so hugeeeee
after lunch (okay, it was actually 3pm when we had our lunch), headed to National Monument at Stop no.14
the night before sister asked me where to go, i said national monument. then she's like, "What to see there? just a monument."
and i was like, "Yeah, but i haven't been there before." HAHAHHAHAHA
so we decided to bring them there. cz seriously there's nothing much to see in kl la -.-
until now im still wondering whether its appropriate to bring them to the monument. because it was built after the Japanese occupation ma. LOL whatever. brought them there already. hahaha! and im finally here after 20years.
this thing was bigger than i thought. LOL it's..really big... i got a shocked when i first found them uphill -.-
touristy time!
it looks like some kind of places in the aladdin story. hahaha!
met a very cute indian auntie..she asked if we're from japan, and when we're leaving she said goodbye to us in japanese.(Ja ne!) LOL! hahahahaha
joined in the random 'orchestra' at the garden..LOL
definitely one of the must see in Kuala Lumpur. *patriotism*
and it's always underrated. im glad that i went. hahaha!
Lastly..back to the Twin tower.
they shopped for so long in Sephora lol and my sister and i started to get vain. and that's the story of my red lips. mwaksss.
weird. bye.
