Summer in Barcelona '12 -PART II-

11/8/2012 · day 4
it's the fourth day of our trip, 3rd day in Barcelona. had our breakfast in the residence itself, we tapau the left-over 4-Quesos last night. this morning we put into the oven and settled our bfast like that.

planned to go to Musical Museum-- Palau de la Música Catalana. but we couldn't really find the place according to the map. -.- then we simply turn in and out between the streets and found it. haha! wanted to buy entrance ticket, but then we were told that there's a show tonight. the Flamenco show. OMGG wanna watch. so we bought tickets for the show and left. haha. anlahh we will come back tonight ;)

moved our steps to Catedral de Barcelona. it's a church. (obviously -.-) mm hmm, it's another Gaudi's building. i was like, "har? Gaudi again...sien lah :/" really sien. we didn't go into the church bcz we already went into the Sagrada Familia on 2nd day..that's really a bomb. haha! walked around at the bazaar and streets nearby.
Catedral. looks nice ;D if you wish to go in, it's 6€ per pax.

Happy Pills

creepy >< puppets home. lol hahaha alot of puppets inside

Had some awesome time pic and video taking with this…lobster? :P

Reached the port, and continue walking.. we were heading to a shopping mall, Maremagnum. It’s the ONLY shopping mall that opens on Sundays in Barcelona. So cool huhh. Haha! Not really a big mall.. with just a few shops and outlets that caught our attention.. like my sister bought a pair of jeans-like flat which I actually spotted it first! But no size for me. Sad.

Saw a few pairs of nice shoes in Bershka. I like the above one very much, and also the leopard printed sneakers. But I didn’t buy.. both. -.- im regretting now, don’t scold me anymore!
Dinner at one of the restaurant in the mall. They serve really good food, but I forgot their name. haha! Okay they are just beside the main entrance. But also costly. Had Fideua, something like fried spaghetti…delicious!
My sister is into Sangria again. And beer is always on my side. Sent these two pics to my daddy that night and he replied, “Wow, you both so Spanish har?” hahahhaha what an adjective ;P

When its 8pm we just left the mall and start walking back to Music museum..
in the hall

probably I was too tired..i find it interesting at first, but it was like…1.5 hrs long. I was so sleepy after like 30mins..the same three person dance, clapping and tapping the floor over and over again.. different dresses only.. LOL maybe I shall watch it again next time when I’m not so tired?
one of the three dancers. i love their dress. haha!

12/8/2012 · day 5
Last half day in Barcelona. Did nothing, like seriously..hahah! woke up and pack our stuffs. Then headed out for brunch at Las Ramblas, the street we had our paella for the very first time. Hehe. Every café looks good there, can pick either one. Shouldn’t be a problem I guess?

Wanted to have paella, and also the black squid fried rice Arrós Negre, but we only can order one portion. (each day we take only one meal, and we share one main course.) and we picked the squid one.

Regret. Still prefer paellaaaaa ohh gawd.
Very lame collage of my sister..hahahha :P

Then we headed to the airport right after lunch.
While waiting for metro.

Goodbye Barcelona. And my sister’s Sangria, and my lovely paella.
We were lateee at the airport -_____- luckily they still let us check in.

NEXT STATION > ROME, Italy

*****************************
Barcelona, is known as the City of Culture. But I didn’t really see a lot of cultural stuffs during my stay there hahahah!

· English is usable at this place. At anywhere, you can ask anyone for direction. They may have their slang, and not so good command, still it’s understandable. If it’s related to tourism sectors, the officers can speak really good English. (like i speak very well? hahahahh)

· Very friendly local people. And hot guys. HAHAHHA okay. I think they like Asians.

· Quite expensive entrance fees for all attractions, and also expenses on food, I think? About 30 for one meal (Paella + Sangria + Beer). The one at the mall is more ><

La Sagrada Familia ★ ★ ★ - MUST go
