Japan Season 2 Ep 08 : Finale

lai let me finish up my Japan trip (like finally its ending) since im waiting for my turnitin report. Stupid IMU. i just submitted my assignment a while ago, now they added new restrictions again and i had to redo (that's fine), and resubmit to turnitin - this is not fine. because they need 24 hours to generate a new report. bullshit.

it was our last day in Japan for this season. And my sister was busy again :(

Again, we were just so chillax and 'man man mo'.

bought this bento from Seiyu the night before

it costed only 100yen --- RM3. WALIAOEH

we also bought all the snacks & kitkats from seiyu to be brought back to msia. haha. i was so tempted to buy their smooth smooth taufu back but my mom said it's impossible to bring back. oh wells. I MISS THE TAUFUUUUU

not many pics for this day because..HHA! i left the SD card of the camera in my computer.

So the pics are in my mom's phone, mostly. and i didn't transfer them all to myself. just those with me inside :P 

A poster spotted at railway station. i thought it was a husky, eventually it's a white Shiba Inu. HAHAH! brown one cuter :) Marutaro. cute maddddd

So we went to Asakusa (浅草) that day. To the famous Sensoji Temple (浅草寺) 

Surprisingly there's no people lol. i still remember the crazy crowd when i was there for the first time with my sister. We headed straight to the first stall nearest to the temple entrance-- the Thunder Gate and bought the deep fried mantou kind of thing. my dad finds it weird hahaha. I felt that it tasted better last time. is it just me? Lol

I was asking about the results for EOS 2 which is going to happen 3 days later.

Spent an hour or two at the temple and the compound nearby (it's a very large area lol) then we headed to Tokyo Skytree around lunch time. Meeting my sister there.

Tokyo Skytree is the new landmark in Tokyo since May 2012. It kind of took over from the Tokyo tower. The last time i was in Tokyo it's construction was not completed yet.

The architecture of the Tokyo Skytree was a bit different from the usual communication tower we see. It's 'tube' is not cylindrical.

We didn't go up to the viewing deck because it's expensive HAHA! 

Just walked around at the shopping mall down there and had our lunch at their food court.

i had the japanese curry. This is the worst japanese curry i have ever had. wth.

i have always been a fan of karaage (fried chicken) and again, this is the worst karaage i have ever had. lol

Moved our steps to Ueno 上野. went to their pasar and mom bought scallops and some dried seafood.
And me....of cz i hunt for my love....TAIYAKI !!

don't ask me what's nice about it. I LOVE IT. 

and LOVE needs no reason ;)

Just another relaxing day. went back home while sister and Desmond went to exchange her new MacBook Air. Bought it in Shibuya the day before. We bought as 'tourist' so we can be exempted from the tax :)) gahahhaha.

Haagen-Dazs ice cream after dinner - Mom cooked some simple dishes at home.

Rose and Sakura flavors. Dad took the sakura flavor HAHA! Haagen Dazs are so cheap there. Everything that's expensive here is comparably cheap there -.- grr. tax. tax. tax.

Packed and....sleep.
Thought that our luggage will be less when we're going back Msia as we will unload all the biscuits and snacks and food to my sister but HAHA. NO. We bought so many things and it's even heavier lol 

Sister checked weather forecast and said there'll be snow the next day starting from 4am. OMG, pls don't delay or cancel my flight man. i needed to go back to sit for my final exam.

And yeah, it started to snow super early. It was snowing as we walked out from my sister's apartment to the bus hub nearby. I though i was kind of immune to cold weather already. no coat needed. yums. hahahah.

On the bus to the airport

well. We arrived at the airport early but their airport sucks shit man.
We bought our ticket from MAS but we were aware that the flight was going to be operated by JAL. So we asked the staff which counter we should go, she told us MAS. Okay.
And while we were in the line for MAS counter, another staff came to check and she said we should queued at JAL counter. I was pissed as my dad was pissed. whattheheck the queue is so looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong.
well actually it's not that long (just because they don't have large space like KLIA) but They work damn slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww. we queued for like 1.5hours. 

Had breakfast at the airport. and saw this high-tech thing. (maybe its very common out there but lol, i memang outdated on ma) 

Our flight was 11am and the snow was getting heavier. my sister even sent a picture of her building snowman outside her house lol hahaha. LUCKILY our flight was just delayed for an hour. piuuuuuuu!

And the japanese pilot, OMG, fly so slow. like seriously damn slow.

Conclusion : Japanese are slow.

And that, end of the trip! GAHAHAHHAHA (Y)

Japan Season 2 Ep 07 : Leisure, Free & Easy.

Just a very normal and chillax day. Nothing to do and nowhere to go.
Since we have a day to spend, we went to see Hachiko and shopping.
Has anyone watched the movie <Hachiko> ? another stupid loyal & faithful dog movie.
I watched it with my Mr Tan a few weeks before i came to Japan and at the end of the movie, they stated that there's this Hachiko monument at Shibuya train station in Tokyo, where it used to wait for its master. Ahh my god. stupid dog.

We took our own sweet time to get ready as it's just gonna be nothing today. hahaha. Sister went for her job interview. We first went to claim my lost bag and then headed straight to Shibuya.

Trying to locate Hachiko and well it's not easy at all because Shibuya is a huge and crowded station, plus the Hachiko is unexpectedly small. Although my sister has warned us that it's gonna be disappointing, we still went to find it la because we have time :3

Andddd, it's just beside the smoking room. therefore it's like damn packed lol

i tot the trend of simply hanging banner and stuffs are only to be seen in some extraordinary countries like us. but see what the Hachiko is wearing? hahahhah. also for some election. lolol.

well just try to locate this busiest junction. Hachiko is just behind me when i took this picture.

Took a few pics with Hachiko then we went across this busy junction and start our shopping day on the street right beside Tsutaya. Went into H&M and didn't get anything lol. just nothing that caught my eyes.

Had lunch on the street too and guess what, we ate the oily noodles we had the day before again. hahahah! it was delicious so all of us didn't mind to have it again. but after this 2nd time, we realized, you can't eat oily noodles everyday XD. maximum two days straight for us lol 

See the huge Forever 21 board? hahah! that's our next stop. yayay. F21 in japan has newer items and cheaper too compared to msia. We went in and i gone crazy with my mom. while my brother and my dad had a look at the men floor, and they think they better sit down at Starbucks to wait for us. LOLOL

6 floors of happiness. Bring me back.

in Japan all the brands have their own building of at least 4 levels. especially in Shinjuku. H&M in Shinjuku is damn awesome.

Spent like 3 hours inside with my mom. HAHHA

We didn't spent much, total bill was just about 10000yen. With the low conversion rate that time it's like RM350. 350 for 5 tops, 2 pants and 1 cosmetic bag, isn't it damn cheapppppp?? in Msia one simple top already costs rm65 at least T_T 

ahhh i miss japannnnnnnn

but for H&M the pricing is about the same in msia.

After shopping we met up with my dad and brother. and we accidentally bumped into my sister and her friends at starbucks LOLOL hahahha!

I also managed to buy Yamashita's CD like finally T^T

wanted to find < Loveless> but dont have :(

Then we ride the train back to suburbs with my sister. she brought us to eat Kaiten sushi :D (the rotating belt one) So yummy, so expensive. lol.

And they really throw the sushi away if the sushi has go round and round on the belt for 3 rounds as it is not fresh anymore. they have a electrical bib underneath the plates and when it passes through a sensor, the sensor will "kick" the plate of sushi out of the belt. like seriously "kick", because i saw that and i got shocked. hahahahaha. lol compared to msia's sushi belt. put there one whole day ngiek.

im so biased, right? hahaha

it's the Disney day ~
headed to DisneySea in the morning, hoping that there's less people that day. but it probably won't happen forever. Japaneses love to go to Disney, no matter what day is it. Mostly we're seeing high school kids and couples. it's like their favourite dating spot. Sis told me that almost every high school girl will go in a group in their uniform before they graduate. lol

That day was very cold too T_T i got no mood to play and jumping around. it's really too cold. i don't know how the girls tahan the winds like that in their super miniskirt without any leggings. #somuchwin

nothing much in the park that day, because it was too cold that we are all lazy to queue for the rides. also because im lazy to describe all =P so i'll just post the pics with some captions perhaps. nyaahhh

Once we got into the park (after queuing for an hour lol), headed straight to get express pass for Tower of terror.
Yeah in TDS (and maybe Disneyland as well, im not sure), you can get express pass for certain rides. Just head to the express pass machine nearby the ride, (have your theme park entrance ticket with you!), and the machine will issue an express pass with a stated time. [eg you get a pass for 6-7pm, you HAVE TO go to the ride at 6-7pm.]
**Each ticket can only get express pass for a few rides per day (perhaps only 3-4), as you can only go to the other machine after certain hours. so make your express pass worth it. Go for the popular rides!

after a few kiddy rides and it's 4pm already. Needed to get some food but it's so crowded everywhere. yes everywhere. We wanted to dine at a Duffy restaurant place where there'll be duffy show but the queue was toooooo long. So we headed to another one. Dine with the Disney's mouse. In the restaurant you can choose whether to dine with or without the characters. so yeah we opted to meet the characters because the other side is queuing damn loooooong also. Sure it'll be more expensive.

It comes with a 4-course-meal which you can choose your starter, side, main and dessert.
The selections are quite fine. i was having trouble to decide what to have haha.

After getting our food from the counter (it's like a food court style), we were led to the table and started eating. nomnomnom. Cold weather just makes me eat MOREE.

Surprisingly good. braised Beef :D

Went to ride the Tower of Terror after eating. At first we were planning not to tell what's the ride so my brother will go with us. but we told mom la cause she confirm can't take it. hahahha!
And my brother was like "what is that." HAHAH at last we told him la. but we assured him it won't be too scary. and WOW, HE WENT WITH US. *clap clap*

The day we went was within the period of its "Limited Edition Ride". (LOL right? hahaha!) yeah..it's a lil bit different from last time.. :)

Went into the souvenir shops. wanted to buy new clothes for my Mr Duffy but not nice.
And the people are crazy. They were grabbing all the Duffy they see. LOL

So tempted to buy this bigger size one. but ngiek, no.

if want to buy, buy thissss :D HAHAH! bankruptcy.

Back to the city to have dinner. Had 油面 "Oily noodles".
Very nice! haha. they serve it dry like this, then you can add sauces, sesame (crush yourselves) spices, mayonnaise etc as you like. Start with just plain sauce and spice, then add mayonnaise to your last few spoons. so yumms =9

HAHAHAH. The Climax of the day is just coming.

Ride the train back to Chofu, where my sister stays. And the train was empty so i got a seat. And i thought it'll be cold so i took out the gloves from my bag and put them on. i was so ready to go home! =D

And as expected, it was really cold. so i walked very fast once we got out of the station. I ran. Then i stopped. "Why do i feel so light on my back?"

HOLY MAMAAAA I LEFT MY BAG IN THE TRAIN

Told my sister so we went back to the station and ask the officers to help.

The officer then checked which station the train is approaching next, and called the station, asked the station officers there to check the train when it arrives.

So we waited. The other station called back and said she couldn't see any left behind bag.

I was like ... okay.. bye my wallet, my ipad, my duffy.... (yes i chained my duffy on the bag) oh ya and my phone.

Then the officer said, "Maybe people has brought it up to another station, maybe you can come back tomorrow morning to check. but because the bag is quite big, if someone has brought it to the station officer they might transfer it to police station."

This time i was like, "LOL what? there's no need for u to bring it to the police lol"

So we went back to my sister's apartment.

i was just feeling okay for losing everything. Until i realized my student ID was in the bag -____- now i'm fucked up. No student ID means no entering to the exam hall. WTH i was sooooo ganjiong the whole night, asked Vetton to help me to go to the SSD to make another student ID; emailed Dr. Ranjit and asked him if I can still sit for the exam etc. That was the longest night i have ever had (probably). and my dad was pissed at me.

And i thought this time i finally lost my phone. (eventually not)

The next morning I was up early to go out with my sister (she was attending a job interview), went to the station to ask about my bag. And the bag was registered on their "Lost & Found". My bag has traveled another 3 stations without me.

anyways, my duffy and everything else were still good in my bag at the other station when i went to pick it up. *Faith Restored* (only in japan perhaps)

But, uhm, my phone comes back to me again. LOL makes me think whether the phone is cursed or what.
