before OFA hits

A very chilled week. No, not at all, it’s just that the academic timetable seems chilled. Im stressing myself up, first OFA on Monday. Although they said, it’s not counted. But aha, cause we’re doing PMS degree, no jokes.

Im not sure whether there’s 40 or 50 objective questions, sounds easy isn’t it. But to prepare for the 50 Qs, we need to revise 67 lecture notes. 67 sets weih LOL and I give up the first 12 lectures already which is on Biochem. Sh*t. and I have 15 more left for the weekend. Woohoo.

*****

Last Monday the IMU health clinic provides free eye photography for 100 students, and we went. Apparently it’s a funduscopy examination la. And found that there is a white spot in my right eye, which is abnormal. But when i asked the doctor what is it, he asked me to consult specialist. LOL. “Probably nothing, but it’s abnormal. I’m afraid that it’s going to spread.” WTF say until like this still say probably nothing. SPREAD?!! WHAT ELSE CAN SPREAD ALL OVER.

So then I texted my parents and tell them about the test and the white spot. My dad asked me to go back instantly and check and I was like, hmm, ok. HAHAHAHA

And I went for the check up only on this Tuesday, cause I got no class on Tues and Wednesday, Nursing Week, I’ll talk about it later. Went all the way down to see Dr. Go at Pantai Hospital Ampang.. after asking me a few questions, he started a series of examination.
  • -  Check eyesight. Manually and using the auto machine thing~
  • -  Eye pressure.

When he said he’s going to anaesthetise my eyes, I was thinking, “ARE YOU GOING TO PRICK MY EYEBALL USING A SYRINGE OR SMTH OHH HELL NOOOOOO.” Probably he saw my frightened face, then he said no worries, I’ll just drip a few drops in ur eyes. You’ll feel like shampoo went into your eyes for few seconds, that’s it.

**ultimate relieve**

Then he place some small thing in front of my eyes and said the thing will touch my eyes. Ohh no again. It’s spinning. I was so traumatized.

  • - Fundoscopic imaging.
(R) and (L) idk why it is rotated like this lol nvm. HAHAHA

This time he drips some yellow liquid into my eyes.. and my vision turns yellow. Oops. Yellow-sighted XD after a few minutes everything turns so bright. Cause it’s a pupil dilation drip. Gosh, I’ve nvr seen my pupil being so hugeeeeeeee that I can’t see my iris anymore lol

And about the white spot, he said it’s a scar. Might be born-defect, or I might had hurt my eyeball when I was small. Good thing to know, it’s not going to cause any harm =)

Interesting. Now I know how to monitor our own eyesight at home, and also know that the eyeball is not soft. Dr Go said the eyeballs are actually hard like tennis ball, golf ball…..HAHAHA he was trying so hard to find more examples. It’s ok. And it’s fluid inside, eye pressure is measuring the fluid pressure in it.

Been dizzied for 4hrs, captured too much light once I walked out of the hospital. Can’t see things clearly also lol I was seeing 15fingers on one hand during that few hours…… hahahahhaha
giant pupil.

Stated up there, this week is our Nursing week, yea for the Sem1 medic. We were assigned into 6 groups, 3 days, 2 hospitals. Mine was on Thursday, Hospital Tunku Jaafar, Seremban.

We were then further divided into smaller groups of 4, and my group was assigned to Male Surgical Ward. you can say that this is one of the most interesting wards.. where the patients are either going in for surgery soon, or after surgery. A lot of different cases we can see there, most of them suffered from motor vehicle accidents..

We tried to talk to the patients, while we can’t really do anything there now, because it’s a “Nursing Week”, is to expose us to the job scope of a nurse. So we were following a nurse all the time hahahahha.

There’s one went through a gas explosion and suffering from burn now. He looks helpless and sad, the first thing he told us when he saw us is, “I’m so happy to find someone who can speak mandarin here..i’ve been here for 2 days and communication between the hospital officers and I is really bad. 快憋死我了!” he said. So we talked a little bit with him.

Besides assisting to change the patient and their bedsheets, I witnessed how they insert the nasogastric  tube. It looks so painful for the patient but no choice, if not they’ll be starving. . .

No matter what, just take care of your health and safety. It’s the most important thing in life, isn’t it?

Okay I shall study now! Tschüss!

i say, dreams are necessary to life =)

selca is necessary to me. hahahhahha hungry weih

Oblivion @ IMAX TGV 1Utama

outdated updates.
too busy. (nahh, ya right.)

currently staying nearby imu, get back home only during weekends.
means, yea, im only meeting my family and le boyfie during weekends.
semester has commenced for 2months, and i'd been staying here for 1.5 months...wahhh.
*such a clingy girlfriend*

almost every friday, i'll have my dinner with mr tan, or else we'll go for movie at night, and then on saturday or sunday, we hang around, movie again. HAHAHA movie freaks aren't we =P

again, 2weeks ago we were planning to go for Oblivion.. but then most of the sessions were full. Then he asked whether i want to try TGV Beanieplex or IMAX. it costs rm28 for one (IMAX). that time i was like what is imaxxxxxx and at last decided to go for it la hahahaha

SO. This is how the IMAX theater looks like. my eyeballs popped out a lil bit when i walked in...LOL. should have taken a picture myself hahaha. this is what i got online..it's in sunway i think. but the one we went in TGV 1 utama is soooooo huge.
it feels like i was about to fall down from the walkway once i entered. the screen is too damn huge and.... can't describe. hahahahah! can't really look at the whole screen at a time..have to move the eyeballs abit. Anyways.

IT'S AWESOMEEEEE
i can't imagine how is it going to be if we're watching IMAX 3D!!!!!! it feels so real already when it's just 2D.

<Oblivion>
the synopsis given from cinema's website :
A veteran assigned to extract Earth's remaining resources begins to question what he knows about his mission and himself.

LOL let me tell you more about it. hahahahah

It is the year 2077. Sixty years earlier the Earth was attacked by aliens, the moon was destroyed. The human used nuclear weapons. Won the war, lost the Earth.

the technician Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) and communication officer Victoria (Andrea Riseborough) are stationed on the planet. Their memories have been erased. Jack's main job is the maintenance of 'drone', the auto airborne machines patrol around the landscape to hunt for the remaining aliens.
Problem is.......there's a little bit of memories stayed inside Jack's mind. He sees a woman in his flashbacks.
One day a spaceship, the Odyssey crashes on the Earth, carrying a few sleeping capsules containing human beings. Jack rescued a woman, Julia. and she has exactly the same face as who he has been seeing in his flashbacks.......................

OK too long to continue...catch it in cinema on your own :P
very cool graphics and IT touch-ups. this is where Jack and Victoria stay.
Jack and Julia at the place which always appear in Jack's flashbacks
Victoria. damn pretty. hahahhaha

what i can say is.. the story line is quite interesting.
the aliens are not the aliens.
besides science fiction, there's some ethical issues i supposed!!! LOL
human cloning. when technology gets more and more advanced, conflicts arise when people misused the knowledge they have.

for the graphics, i'll rate them highly. hahahaha
